John Haas founded Haas Builders over two decades ago. Growing up in the business, both John’s father and grandfather were carpenters and contractors for over 50 years. After graduating with a degree in Engineering and Business Management from the University of Illinois in 1987, John spent two years in the corporate world before beginning to build custom, high-end homes in Park City, Utah. In 1998, John moved to Big Sky, Montana to continue his success in the homebuilding industry, shifting focus to custom boutique. September 2010 will mark 21 years of business for Haas Builders.
Principles & Approach
Staying true to our company philosophy, we choose to build only one or two projects at a time – allowing our clients to receive full attention while eliminating the need for a middleman or project manager.
Through every step of the process, we work onsite with our clients, architects, interior designers, subs and employees – ensuring every detail is carefully planned and constructed in a clean, efficient, beautiful and cost effective manner.
From initiation to completion, we focus on establishing and maintaining relationships among the team, architect, builder and interior designer – all essential components to achieve the best possible design, quality and fastest construction.
Timelines are essential – a smooth project is dependent on how well it’s organized from the beginning. Having a well thought out design, color scheme and material list is key; we approach each project with a clear direction and will work one-on-one with you to ensure your overall goals are achieved.
